Experienced, qualified, and
always entertaining!

Hello, my name is Kevin. I’m a qualified Green Badge City of Canterbury Guide, a Canterbury Cathedral Guide, and a Green Badge City of London Guide. I’m also a proud member of the Institute of Tour Guiding (ITG).

Before guiding, I spent nearly 40 years teaching History, Politics, and Religious Education. I studied at Queen Mary College, University of London, where I first began leading walking tours during university holidays. Since then, I’ve built up experience across a wide variety of tours — from walking and site tours to battlefield tours abroad, film location bus tours, and Thames River tours. In Canterbury, I also deliver part of the UNESCO tour at St Augustine’s Abbey.

Both teaching and guiding are, at their heart, about sharing knowledge and sparking curiosity. It’s a joy to watch people become excited about the places I love — and every tour deepens my own appreciation, too. I look forward to welcoming adults, seniors, and students on a tour I hope will be as enjoyable as it is informative.
